The Multi Route Review function uses three parameters: Faster Time, Shorter Distance, and Less Fuel to “intelligently” calculate the optimum route, enabling users to reach their destinations as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Versatile Screen Displays
The screen views, which can be easily toggled from one to another simply by touching the screen or appropriate button, can be changed to best suit specific needs. For instance, Split Screen divides the screen into two with navigation on the left and a control window on the right while Picture-in-Picture displays the navigation and source screens simultaneously.

Easy Driving
The Lane Assist function guides you to the appropriate lane to be in for upcoming junction and interchanges, and Junction View displays a realistic view of upcoming road details facilitating a safer navigation experience.

Built-in NAVTEQ Traffic
Real-time traffic data for over 90 major cities in North America is available, enabling automatic route re-navigation to show you how to get to your destination, quick and easy.

Pandora Connectivity
A number of Pandora functions can be controlled from the receiver, one of which is Bookmark Artist that enables users to bookmark the artist(s) being played at the time. Other convenient functions include sorting operations such as A to Z Search that categorizes station names in alphabetical order, and Sort by Date that arranges and lists station names by dates registered.

iPod Connectivity
The My Favorite Albums feature of the DNX6180 and DNX5180 allows the user to "flick through" album art from a connected iPhone or iPod and create their own personal "Top Ten" by simple drag and drop operation. Up to 2,000 album art images can be uploaded to the receiver. The Album Art view can also be easily switched between the Simple Mode and Useful Mode.

Built-in Bluetooth
With a Bluetooth-enabled Kenwood model, pairing the receiver with a Bluetooth mobile phone is now easier than ever and once paired, phonebooks can be downloaded into the receiver quick and easy. What’s more, up to six phone numbers can be preset and call histories can be stored onto the receiver for speedy access helping to create a safer driving experience.

Animated GUI with Color Coordination
The DNX6180 features an attractive, fun-to-use Animated GUI with Color Coordination and Variable Color Key Illumination allowing users to coordinate or personalize display colors to match vehicle interiors.
