The amPlug series received wide-ranging acclaim from guitarists around the world for delivering incredible guitar tone in a pocket-sized unit. Now, the existing range is joined by two new units. 



"Lead" is based on a US-made high-gain boutique amp, further modified for lead guitar. It also contains a digital delay effect, delivering a huge, spatial sound that could not be previously obtained, & giving you a rich & full-fledged lead sound that you can play anytime & anywhere. For the bassist, 



"Bass" is modeled on VOX's classic AC100 bass amp, & expands its potential w/a full-range tone that supports today's bass sounds. A compressor/boost effect provides not just compression but also a thick overdrive sound, giving you the perfect tones for performing in any style. Careful attention has been paid to the sound quality, & a high-quality FET buffer circuit has been used to obtain even greater dynamic range.



The oringial models are still available in three different sound styles: VOX AC30, Classic Rock, based on a UK-made amplifier head, & Metal, based on a California-made high-gain amplifier head. Even w/its ultra-compact size, amPlug perfectly reproduces the complex & warm distortion that is distinctive of a vacuum tube, as well as the powerful high gain produced by a large amp stack. Using all new analog modeling technology, amPlug delivers full-fledged amp sound.

With its completely analog design, great care was also taken w/amPlug's gain circuitry. The "AC30" uses two natural-sounding gain stages to reproduce the distinctive AC30 tone. "Classic Rock" uses four classical gain circuits to deliver that great sound. "Metal" uses two stages of ultra-high gain plus a mid-cut circuit, giving you modern metal high-gain sound anywhere & anytime. Even the circuit response of the original amp is simulated completely. The simulation extends not only to the response of the tone circuits, but also to the way in which the high frequency & gain are affected when you turn down the volume control of the guitar. Every detail has been faithfully reproduced.
