This rugged & dependable two-way enclosure uses a 15 inch Peavey Black Widowr speaker that will handle up to 2000 watts of peak power & has a field-replaceable basket for quick, easy repair. The upper-mid & high frequencies are handled by the RXT22 titanium driver that is ferrofluid cooled for maximum tweeter performance. Peavey's exclusive Quadratic Throat WaveguideT technology actually reduces horn distortion & aims sound directly at the audience, not over their heads. Rugged 9-ply baltic birch construction, utilizing extensive internal bracing, produces tighter bass response while significantly reducing the cabinet weight. To make connecting even easier, Peavey includes a standard 1/4 inch jack & an exclusive Neutrikr Speakonr input that makes bi-amping plug & play simple. Finished in durable thick black carpeting w/two heavy-duty handles & a stand mount, the SPT 2 is perfect for a variety of applications.
